Create a beautiful coordinated baby and toddler outfit with this traditional Norwegian-inspired Fair Isle knitting pattern collection. Featuring intricate geometric colourwork, classic Nordic motifs and comfortable knitted shapes, this versatile pattern includes four matching garments.
Choose from a patterned pullover, button-front cardigan, matching trousers and a knitted cap with earflaps. The trousers can also be made with an optional bib and braces for a traditional dungaree-style finish.
The original photographs show the designs in brown and mist, with an alternative grey and white colourway also specified in the pattern.

Materials Required:
• Fingering-weight merino wool or suitable tension-matched alternative
• Original yarn: 100% merino wool
• 2 mm and 2.5 mm circular and double-pointed knitting needles
• 1.5 mm crochet hook, stitch holders and markers
• Cardigan buttons: 5–6, depending on size
• Optional trouser bib: 4 buttons
• Optional 2.5 cm wide elastic for trouser waistband
• Sewing needle for assembly
Tension: 32 stitches and 38 rounds over 10 cm in colourwork, or 40 rounds in stocking stitch, using the larger needles.
